FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying cycloplegic medicamental preparation like atropine or cycline used for impregnating soft contact lens having diaphragm with zero optical properties for 2-4 h. Soft contact lens having diaphragm impregnated with the preparation is applied to eye and the patient wears it during the whole working day. Accommodation spasm being completely alleviated, the wears soft contact lens not impregnated with the preparation during 1 month according to the same scheme. The soft contact lens having diaphragm has diaphragm light aperture diameter of 1.0-5.0 mm.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; stable alleviation and removal of spasm; reduced risk of harmful side effects.
