FIELD: radioelectronic technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in small-size automatic surface mounting devices. According to proposed method, articles are delivered to transport surface and line trains of articles are formed for subsequent transfer of articles onto common carrier by wetted surface of successive set of transfer elements which is made for discrete displacement. Each transfer element is made for vertical displacement to receive articles and mount or fix them in corresponding positions on common carrier which is arranged under transfer element. Common carrier is arranged on magazine which is rolled line-by-line gear engagement with fixed sector whose length is not less then width or length of common carrier by two spaced gears positively rotated and displaced by means of step drive around axle of rotation of set of transfer elements in gear meshing with fixed toothed surface which is arranged in the same sector but on larger radius. Device for orientation of different-shape articles at transportation has articles transport surface over which articles feed unit is arranged, unit to form line trains and unit to receive and transfer line train articles onto common carrier in form of set of transfer elements with axle of rotation and transfer elements wetting unit. Flat magazine is introduced into device on which common carrier is secured.
EFFECT: improved reliability of small-size automatic surface mounting devices at increased speed parameters.
