FIELD: electrochemical methods of finishing surfaces; electrochemical polishing of complex profiled surfaces.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes electrochemical polishing in electrolyte containing thiocarbamide and sulfuric acid at temperature of 18-25°C for 20-60 s by pulsating bipolar current of rectangular shape at duration of anode pulse of (0.2-3.0)·10-3 s, duration of interval between anode and cathode pulses of (0.5-3.0)·10-3 s, duration of cathode pulse of (0.2-3.0)·10-3, duration of interval between cathode and anode pulses of (0.53.0)·10-3 s at amplitude of anode current density of (1-5) A/cm2 and amplitude of cathode current of (0.5-5) A/cm2.
EFFECT: reduced power requirements.
