FIELD: electrochemical methods of finishing surfaces; methods of electrochemical polishing of complex-profile surfaces. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes polishing in aqueous solution of sodium thiosulfate at concentration of (600-1300) g/l and temperature of 14-20 C by pulse unipolar current of rectangular shape applied for 5-8 minutes at the following parameters of pulses: duration, (2-5)•10-3 s; pulse period-to-pulse duration ratio, 1.25-3; current amplitude density, (8-12) A/sq cm. EFFECT: improved quality of polishing silver surfaces. 1 ex
