SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of electrochemical method of surfaces treatment, particularly: to methods of electrochemical polishing of complex contoured surfaces. Method includes feeding on electroplating bath of unipolar current impulses of squared shape at conditions and modes of electrolysis, providing anodic treatment at decay value of current in impulse, passing through the bath, herewith impulse duration is limited by time, during which current value in impulse in each following moment of time is less than previous and pause duration is not more the duration at which current value in the impulse beginning is provided in the range: iinitial=(l>3-2)×ifinal.
EFFECT: reduction of relative energy consumption for the polishing process of metals and alloys surface.
