FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology of electropolishing of inner surfaces of parts of metals and alloys; it can be used for processing of hollow parts of a tube type for increasing their operational characteristics. The method includes placement, inside a tube, of an electrode not contacting with the tube, filling, and movement of a conductive medium inside the tube, supply of an electrical potential to the tube and the electrode, and polishing of an inner surface of the tube to obtain predetermined roughness. In this case, as the conductive medium, granules are used made of anionites impregnated with electrolyte, they are moved by pneumatic transportation, creating excessive pressure at one of inputs to the inner surface of the tube, while providing a contact between granules, as well as between granules and the inner surface of the tube and the electrode. The device contains a product holder made with the possibility of provision of supply of an electrical potential to all tubes and electrodes located inside tubes. Moreover, the electrode is made in the form of a hollow cooled tube, and a system for supply of electrolyte in the form of granules-anionites is made with the possibility of its reverse pneumatic supply and is equipped with a compressor, and a storage hopper is equipped with cyclone for separation of granules from a pneumatic flux.

EFFECT: increase in the quality and reliability of polishing of an inner surface of parts due to an increase in uniformity of processing of surfaces, reduction in a probability of defects, and reduction in roughness.
