FIELD: manufacture of fittings; safety devices for maintenance of preset pressure in apparatus working under pressure of gases at low temperatures.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pulse-operated safety valve has two gates: main gate and pulse-operated gate. Each gate consists of seat and slide unit. Slide unit of main gate is provided with bellows forming bellows chamber together with seat of pulse-operated gate; it is spring-loaded towards seat of main gate. Provision is made for small hole for admitting gas into bellows chamber. Seat of pulse-operated gate has larger hole (as compared with small hole), hole for receiving gas from bellows chamber and hole for tappet. Tappet is engageable with slide unit of pulse-operated gate at opening of valve. Seat is secured on bellows of main gate by means of tappet for forming clearance between seat and slide unit of pulse-operated gate at pressure of beginning of opening. Smaller hole for admitting gas into bellows chamber is made in slide unit of main gate.
EFFECT: possibility of discharging cold gas during protracted period of time; simplified construction; enhanced operational reliability.
