FIELD: medicine, clinic practice.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with detecting osseous reference points, followed by computed optic topography in two-dimensional mode and detecting the angles of deviation. Osseous reference points are a spinous process of the 7th cervical vertebra, the tops of scapular angles, posterior upper iliac spines, sacro-coccygeal symphysis. According to the obtained topograms one should detect topographo-anatomic values: α - the angle of deviation of brachial girdle against a horizontal in frontal plane; β - the angle of deviation of pelvic girdle against the horizontal in frontal plane; γ - the angle of deviation of body's axis against a plumb; δ - cumulative deviation of both brachial and pelvic girdles in frontal plane; ▵iH - the index of brachial girdle's area; ▵iS - the index of pelvic girdle's area. Moreover, δ-value should be calculated by the following formula: δ = 3.858 + 0.341X1 + 0.986X2 - 3.638X5, where X1 - α, X2 - β, X5 - ▵iH. Application of the present method enables to carry out differentiated evaluation of affected body posture and scoliosis, rehabilitation and further dispensary system activity in children. The innovation improves earlier diagnostics of vertebral deformations in children.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of diagnostics.
