FIELD: glass industry; methods and the devices for heating of the glass sheets at preparation for their heat hardening.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of glass industry, in particular, to the method and the device for heating of the glass sheets at preparation for their heat hardening. The technical result of the invention is the continuous feeding of the pure air for the convection heating of the glass from above and from below without the significant heat losses at the simultaneous profile control of the convection heating from above and from below along the glass sheet width. The glass-melting furnace (1) is supplied with the upper and lower tubes of the convection blast (11, 14), arranged along the furnace. The furnace is also supplied with the upper and lower radiation heating elements (12, 16). The convection heating air is exposed to compression in the air engine (3) and to purification in the filter (4). The convection heating air from above is heated up by the air effluent from the furnace in the set of the separate heat exchangers (7), through which the convection heating air is gated from above into the upper tubes (11) of the convectional blasting. The amount of the air passing from the furnace (1) through the heat exchangers (7) essentially is equal to the amount of the air blasted into the furnace for the convection heating.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the continuous feeding of the pure air for the convection heating of the glass from above and from below without the significant heat losses at the simultaneous profile control of the convection heating from above and from below along the glass sheet width.
