FIELD: methods of heating glass panels in hardening furnaces.
SUBSTANCE: glass panels (7) are carried in conveyer formed by rollers (6) to hardening furnace (1) where they are heated by means of radiating elements (2,3) and convective elements (4, 4a, 4b, 4c, 4', 4a', 4b', 4c', 5) in upward direction. Lower side of glass panels (7) is heated by means of convective elements (4, 4a, 4b, 4c, 4', 4a', 4b', 4c') for heating from below which are located lengthwise relative to furnace (1) and convective heating zones (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and J) are limited. Thus heat transfer coefficient in transversal direction of furnace of convective heat zones (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and J) may be changed.
EFFECT: possibility of forming transversal profile of convective action used in lower side of glass.
