SUBSTANCE: method involves determining linear blood circulation speed in orbital artery (OA) and in central retinal artery (CRA). Resistance index (IR) in these blood vessels is determined and ophthalmo-retinal coefficient (ORC) is calculated from formula (IR OA)/(IR CRA). Macular photosensitivity level (MPS) is determined. If ORC drops below 0.8 and MPS level by 15% and more with respect to physiologic norm, pathological state is predicted.
EFFECT: accelerated prognosis method.
