FIELD: metallurgy, machine engineering, namely wear resistant materials for surfacing, possibly working surfaces of machine parts subjected to intensive air-abrasive wear at operation.
SUBSTANCE: surfacing material contains tungsten boride, ferrochrome, ferrovanadium and mixture of melt fluxes (1 :1) given in specification at next relation of ingredients, mass %: tungsten boride, 48 - 51; ferrochrome, 28 - 29; ferrovanadium, 17 - 18; mixture of melt fluxes, the balance.
EFFECT: improved air-abrasive wear resistance of surfacing material due to lowered specific volume of carboboride phases and due to increased rigidity.
