FIELD: production of continuously-cast strip from electrical steel with oriented grain.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes fast controllable cooling with the aid of injectors for check of grain orientation in finished product. To obtain required orientation of grain in steel strip and good physical properties, for example minimum tendency to cracking, strip is subjected after molding to initial secondary cooling to temperature of about 1150-1250°C, after which strip is subjected to fast secondary cooling by water sprinkling at rate of from 65°C/s to 150°C/s to temperature not exceeding 950°C.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
