FIELD: construction materials; chamberless continuous drying process.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of drying comes to continuous mechanical shifting of wood in form log or cant at definite controllable speed through heat source made in form of ring ceramic infra-red source. Device is made as chamberless system of horizontal cradles for wood around which row of ring ceramic infra-red sources are arranged. Invention is designed for creating simple chamberless drying device and contains description of method by means of which drying of wood material in form of cylindrical logs and cants is carried out.
EFFECT: provision of high-quality, cheap and quick drying of wood material at low power consumption.
