FIELD: electrical engineering; electrical machines with double-disk stator and double-disk rotor.
SUBSTANCE: proposed electrical machine has symmetrical housing built of stator frame in the form of central annular disk rigidly joined with internal sleeve and external cylindrical rim, as well as two end shields carrying brake lining; central annular space of machine is divided by annular disk of stator frame into two areas, each accommodating one stator magnetic core and one rotor disk that mounts magnetic core carrying squirrel-cage winding; each stator magnetic core is fixed on annular disk of stator frame.
EFFECT: enhanced loading capacity, operating reliability, braking and cooling efficiency; reduced cost and enlarged functional capabilities.
