FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves treating pathological focus, reflexogenic zones and trigger points by applying two physiotherapeutic procedures like amplipulse therapy and ultrasonic therapy. When applying amplipulse therapy, both pathological focus and reflexogenic zones are exposed at the same time to electric current as follows. Alternating current, III operation mode is applied with modulating current frequency of 100 Hz, modulation depth 75%, pulsing duration of 2-3 s during 3-5 min. IV operation mode is applied with modulating current frequency of 70 Hz, modulation depth 75-100%, pulsing duration of 3 s during 3-5 min. Then, action is sequentially applied to trigger points from distal regions to proximal ones, treating each point and main focus in turn with ultrasound 1 min long on each side. Ultrasound parameters are as follows. Action intensity is 0.2 W/cm2, pulsating mode 2 ms, total action time is 8-10 min with total treatment course equal to 5-7 procedures.
EFFECT: improved analgesic action; accelerated treatment course.
