SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to manual therapy, neurology. Impact on trigger points and functional blocks is performed by method of ischemic compression and postisometric relaxation of muscles, which have trigger points. During impact on trigger points on the basis of criterion of transferring from one method to another (phenomenon of recognition) stable durative effect of treatment is reached. In the process of treatment purposeful impact is rendered on local area, which is determined in accordance with the trigger chain, which reflects interconnection of trigger points with damaged joint of VMS. Detected inflamed joint is considered to be source of pain syndrome origin. It is taken for principal trigger point (PTP) and connected with it on sclerotome painful muscle indurations are determined. Identified indurations as principal trigger point (PTP) and distal trigger points (DTP) relative to main (MTP) are lined up into diagram of trigger points. Impact on functional blocks is realised after finishing treatment of trigger points, which includes carrying out ischemic compression, postisometric relaxation of muscles and gymnastics.
