FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, rotary high-speed machines and heavy working tool.
SUBSTANCE: vertical rotary machine has casing, rotary working tool, working tool shaft, supporting units mounted on shaft, and apparatus for unloading of supporting units. Said apparatus has upper disk and lower disk rigidly fixed on shaft, and profiled blades uniformly secured between disks, at their peripheral part. Unloading apparatus may be arranged coaxially with respect to working tool, above or below it. Apparatus is preferably adapted for heavy machine parts such as cross-pieces, disks, drums, wheels etc, mounted on vertical shaft and equipped with unloadable supporting units, it may also be used in centrifugal equipment, turbine construction, engine building, and machine tool manufacture.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in radial unloading of supporting units in rotary machines having open casing owing to enhanced self-centering ability of working tool by creating aerodynamic force in radial, namely, centrifugal or centripetal, direction.
