FIELD: mechanical engineering; production of rotor installations.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to the rotor installation with a support on a cushion formed by a fluid medium, in particular to the rotor installations with horizontal or vertical axis of rotation of the rotor with gas-static, gas-dynamic, hydrostatical and hydrodynamic supporting units of the executive device. Installation contains the body, the executive device, the supporting unit of the executive device. The latter consists of: a rotation member rigidly fused with the executive device with formation of the rotor; a stationary member with inlet apertures for delivery of a liquid working medium to the supporting surfaces of the rotating and the stationary members meeting each other by their form. The invention also includes: a device for feeding of the liquid working medium, that is connected to the apertures of the stationary member of the supporting unit; a drive of the rotor and a device for relay protection of the installation against emergency vibrations of the rotor together with the power supply source and the unit of the secondary equipment. The stationary member of the supporting unit is connected to the body through an insulation gasket. The power supply unit of the device for relay protection is electrically connected by lines directly to the stationary member of the supporting unit and through the unit of the secondary equipment - with the installation body. The installation is characterized by heightened reliability of operation at the expense of prevention of the rotor impacts with the installation body and the stationary member of the supporting unit.
EFFECT: the invention allows to heighten reliability of the installation operation and to prevent the rotor impacts with the installation body and the stationary member of the supporting unit.
