FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular, to machines with rotary high-speed working member fitted on horizontal or vertical shaft to be used in various branches of centrifugal machinery. Centrifugal machine comprises closed cylindrical housing, rotary working member arranged inside said housing, working member shaft and drive. Machine incorporates vacuum pump impeller fitted on working member shaft so that pump inlet is located at housing bottom.
EFFECT: electric power savings, reduced working member heating and load at its drive.
