FIELD: mechanical engineering; transporting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chain feeders and it can be used for unloading large lump loads from hoppers and stores. Proposed feeder has inclined chute and row of heavy ring chains suspended from drive drum and closed in vertical plane and interconnected by cross links. According to invention, cross links are made in form of heavy-weight hangers suspended from ring chains and freely arranged between ring chains for interaction with load to be transported.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of operation of chain feeder owing to provision of controlled movement of load along chute.
