FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: additive containing imino and imido groups is prepared by condensation of (i) Mannich base having general formula: (I), wherein R1 represents C8-C20-alkyl group and R2 represents hydrogen atom or R1 with (ii) polyalkylenesuccinic acid of general formula: (II), wherein Palk represents linear or branched poly-C2-C4-alkylene chain with number average molecular mass 300 to 2250, in the form of 30-70% solution in mineral or synthetic oil.

EFFECT: improved detergent properties (regarding engine admission valves) and anticorrosion properties of fuels.
