FIELD: plasma using technological processes in metallurgical production, namely methods and apparatuses for processing dispersed materials, possibly for producing pure elements.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of supplying raw material and reducing gas in direction opposite to plasma flow direction; directing non-reduced raw material along closed duct to reduction zone till time moment of final reduction and metal condensation. Plasma reactor includes plasmotron, ducts for supplying dispersed raw material, crucible made of refractory material and butt joined with anode of plasmotron. Reduction chamber is communicated with circulation chamber, namely with radial ducts formed in circulation chamber and inclined by the same angle relative to axis of reactor for supplying raw material in direction opposite to plasma flow direction. Invention allows to maximally completely process mineral raw material due to continuous feed of dispersed powder and non-reduced raw material directly into plasma stream along opposite to it direction in closed cycle with possibility of achieving maximum heat transfer from plasma to reduced element.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of processing dispersed raw material.
