FIELD: physics; radio.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to radio location facilities of complete polarisation reception. It is suggested to develop decision on extension of location object on the basis of scattering matrix or its invariants parameters for every target and calculation of polarisation parameters on this basis. Suggested method and device make it possible to not only detect extended object in cloud of dipole reflectors in polarimetric radio locators, but also to determine angle positions of extended target locations in cloud of dipole reflectors in the moments of phase shift appearance between received linear orthogonal components of signals reflected from targets.
EFFECT: expansion of functional resources.
