FIELD: energy high-density physics and thermonuclear fusion.
SUBSTANCE: wire liner and relevant devices for fastening parts together are available of different design alternates and can be used to produce high-power X-ray flows for solving practical problems. Each design alternate is, essentially, set of mandrels, grooves, wires, electricity conducting parts, fastening parts (springs, thimbles), electrodes, fastening members, supporting and locating members. Using proposed liner and relevant devices makes it possible to ensure space-saving installation of wires on conducting parts and electrodes eliminating effect of spring size (coiling diameter) on number of required wires, to ensure desired contact between wires and conducting parts when current is passed through them by tightly interconnecting them applying equal force irrespective of working position of wire assembly (vertical, horizontal, or inclined), to ensure shipment of conducting parts and wires assembled on mandrel over long distances from manufacturing point to assembly location, to reduce damage probability to wires during their installation or in transit due to kicks or other impacts, to provide for easy replacement of damaged wires, and to facilitate checkup for proper installation of wire liner parts on current-carrying parts both before connecting current-carrying parts to anode and cathode and after their connection.
