FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to high energy density physics and thermonuclear fusion and can be used to generate powerful streams of soft X-rays (SXR) required to solve a range of practical tasks, e.g. for investigating soft X-ray generation processes during collapse of plasma liners. The device has two electrodes, one of which has a first current conducting component made in form of a ring, and a second current conducting component in form of a disc with a depression and a central fastening element. The central opening of the ring and the depression of the disc are covered by plugs. The first and second current conducting components are electrically connected through wires. The device also has a third, fourth and fifth current conducting components. The third and fourth components are electrically connected through wires. The fourth current conducting component is pressed to one of the electrodes, and the fifth current conducting component is attached to the third current conducting component and with the other electrode. In one of the connections between the third and fifth current conducting components or the third current conducting component and the electrode there is a compensator which ensures electrical connection of the said three components. A method of assembling and dismantling the said device is also proposed. The apparatus for assembling the device has a mandrel with two fastening elements; first and second guides joined to the mandrel; a bogie threaded using the third guide on the first guide and which forms a first kinematic rotatory-rectilinear pair with it; a fourth guide made with possibility of beading the mandrel on it using the second guide and formation of a second kinematic rotatory-rectilinear pair. The device also has stand with a third fastening element and a fifth guide, made with possibility of threading the mandrel on it using the second guide and formation of a third kinematic rotatory-rectilinear pair; a gauge made with possibility of beading on the fifth guide using the sixth guide. The apparatus for dismantling the device has a stand which is fitted with a fastening element, a support and clamping elements, a first guide; a mandrel with two fastening elements and with a second guide, made with possibility of threading onto the first guide and formation of kinematic rotatory-rectilinear pair between the stand the mandrel; a removable plate with two fastening elements attached to the support element; a compensator fitted between the support element and the plate.
EFFECT: increased mass of the plasma liner by making a cascade from two multi-wire liners; simplification of assembling components of the wire liner and control of correctness of fitting wires on the current conducting components before and after connecting the current conducting components to electrodes; possibility of replacing damaged wires of the inner liner without removing wires from the current conducting components of the outer liner.
