FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining decompression cavity location. The cavity being found in cornea, corneal micro-tunnel access is applied. The cavity being found in sclera, scleral one is applied. Double-edged cutting instrument is introduced into the decompression cavity and moved from the cavity under conjunctiva. The movement is carried out towards the paralimbal zone with distal instrument end exit being within the paralimbal zone projection boundaries. Cutting instrument movement direction is changed with triangular scleral valve being formed when cutting sclero-scleral and sclero-conjunctival adhesion formations.
EFFECT: stable intraocular pressure normalization.
