FIELD: biophysical methods for blood investigation.
SUBSTANCE: blood cell membrane sensitivity to insulin is determined by preparation of al least three samples of cell suspension at 50 mul with evenly increasing of insulin dose having concentration of 1x10-5 M, wherein lymphocyte suspension contains 1x106 cell/ml; and erythrocyte suspension has optical density of 0.7 Units in 0.5 cm bath at absorption wave length of 650 nm. Freshly prepared insulin solution is added into the first, second and third samples in amount of 1 mul, 5 mul, and 10 mul, respectively. Then fluorescence value for each sample is determines and on the base of obtained data number average fluorescence value Fav is calculated. Membrane sensitivity is evaluated using flourometric scale, wherein Fav of 30 u.fl. or less indicates reduced sensitivity; Fav of 30-60 u.fl. indicates medium sensitivity; and Fav of 60 u.fl. or more indicates increased sensitivity.
EFFECT: method of increased accuracy and informativeness.
