FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary-vane internal combustion engine has body with ring working chamber provided with intake and exhaust ports and accommodating two pairs of vanes installed for rotation at variable speed and mounted on coaxial shafts connected with output shaft of synchronizer containing variable-radius gear wheels. Gear wheels of synchronizer secured on shafts of rotor and on output shaft have special form of pitch surface providing harmonic, for instance, sinusoidal change of angular speed of rotors at uniform rotation of power takeoff shaft.
EFFECT: improved reliability, economy and manufacturability of engine.
