FIELD: detection of moving objects.
SUBSTANCE: method is based upon analysis of characteristics of electromagnetic field within radiator's control area, namely, of standing wave coefficient. Method proposed is less sensitive than prototype one to effect of electromagnetic noise. Decision on presence of trespasser inside guarded area is taken on base of dynamics of changes of amplitude of standing wave coefficient. Single-position detection aid is built which operation is based upon registration of changes in electromagnetic field when object crosses volumetric area of detection.
EFFECT: improved reliability of operation; improved truth of results.
