SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dibenzylamine compounds of the formula (1): wherein each among R¹ and R² represents (C₁-C₆)-alkyl group optionally substituted with halogen atoms and so on; each among R³, R⁴ and R⁵ represents hydrogen atom, halogen atom and so on, either R³ and R⁴ in common with carbon atoms bound to them can form a carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring optionally having a substitute (substitutes); A represents -N(R⁷)(R⁸) and so on; ring B represents aryl group or heterocyclic residue; R⁶ represents hydrogen atom, halogen atom, (C₁-C₆)-alkyl group and so on; n means a whole number from 1 to 3, or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. Proposed compounds elicit the selective and strong inhibitory effect on CETP activity and can be used as therapeutic or prophylactic agents against hyperlipidemia or arteriosclerosis.
