SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a compound which is 1-(2,6-bis-methylamino-8-propylaminopyrimido[5,4-d]pyrimidin-4-ylamino)-2-methylpropan-2-ol (31) or to a crystalline pharmaceutically acceptable salt, selected from a group of salts, such as defined in the claim. Also disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition, a drug in form of a pharmaceutically acceptable capsule based on compound (31), as well as a method for inhibiting or treating respiratory failure and a method for destabilization of respiratory rhythm in a subject.
EFFECT: novel organic compounds which are suitable for treating diseases or respiratory disorders in a subject in need thereof.
