FIELD: oil producing and petrochemical industries; heating oil residues.
SUBSTANCE: according to first version, tubular furnace includes box-shaped body 1 where horizontal tubes of coil 2 are arranged, flat wall 3 mounted along furnace axis and burners 6. Furnace hearth 4 is blind and is made in form of projection or recess for receiving drops of unburnt liquid fuel. Burners 6 are located in upper part of projection or above recess. According to second version, tubular furnace is similar to that of first version but it has no flat wall 3 and horizontal tubes of coil 2 are laid along furnace axis.
EFFECT: smooth heating of coil tubes excluding their clogging with coke and emergency situation at stoppage.
