FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: radial bearing comprises ring casing for a group of arch-shaped inserts. The inserts are flexibly mounted by means of a spring means that displace the inserts with respect to the head parts that lock the spacers arresting the displacement in radial direction and cause the inserts of the bearing to define the shaft space. The inserts are provided with bearing pins secured to the casing or insert at its one end and are movable with respect to the insert or casing at its other end. The spring means has assembles of members that can be deflected individually. The assembles are interposed between the mutually movable inserts, casing or pin and are preliminary loaded by means of adjusting the space with inserts with respect to the spacers. The spring means are defined by the plate ring-shaped spring washers mounted on the bearing pins.
