FIELD: the invention refers to explosive works namely to the modes and arrangements for getting pressure impulses in gas dynamic impulse arrangements.

SUBSTANCE: it may be used for example for testing constructions on strength, for displacement of a rod in pipelines, of a piston in cylinders, of a shell in the barrel of a gun, of a jet of water etc. The essence of the invention is in the following: gas generating charges are in succession ignited in a closed volume, one of them is ignited with an initial downloading impulse and the following charges - through slowing down charges with a delay in time corresponding to the time of combustion of a slowing down charge. There is a hermetically sealed chamber 1 for locating gas generating charges: for the primary charge 4 downloaded from an igniter 3 and an additional charge 6 in whose body there are bushings with slowing down charges 5 through which the additional charge is downloaded. It is fulfilled out of components and placed either in one body or in various bodies whose connection secures air-tightness of the inner volume.

EFFECT: expands functional possibilities of the mode at the expense of securing possibility to extend the duration of the impulse of the prescribed amplitude.
