FIELD: optical instrumentation engineering; devices for external trajectory measurements in space geodesy and in measurement ranges, in shipboard optical systems in particular.
SUBSTANCE: proposed shipboard measurement system includes at least one station provided with optical system and device for covering it. Shipboard optical system includes optical unit mounted on bearing swivel facility installed in fore section of upper deck; bearing swivel facility has orthogonal axes of rotation; it is made in form of first shaft mounted in supports secured on base; geometrical axis of this shaft is immovable relative to ship and is located in ship's CL; axis of first shaft is inclined towards stern. Mounted in first shaft in coaxial supports for rotation about orthogonal axis is second shaft on which parallel optical units are mounted which are combined in two groups; one of these groups is detachably connected to each end of second shaft by means of flange. Device for covering optical system has bearing part, detachable casing secured on bearing part and units for opening and closing of detachable casing. Detachable casing is made in form of two doors articulated to bearing part which is horizontal relative to common axis of ship.
EFFECT: enhanced compactness of system; maximum range of working observation angles; continuous tracking of highly dynamic objects passing through zenith region.
