FIELD: mechanical engineering; testing facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for determining strength of food materials at stretching. Proposed device contains at least one loading mechanism made in form of passive and active grips for each of specimen, loader connected with active grip and force measuring mechanism. Loading mechanism is connected with force measuring mechanism made in form of thin metal plate with two strain gauges glue from opposite sides. Strain gauges are connected with computer through analog-digital converter. Loader contains electric motor, reduction gear and variable-speed drive.

EFFECT: provision of uniform stretching of specimen under testing.
