FIELD: testing equipment, tribology, tests of structural and lubricating materials and additives to them for friction and wear under static and dynamic conditions. SUBSTANCE: given automated complex realizes load circuit " shaft-block " and presents friction machine equipped with program-controlled electric motor drives, hydraulic equipment with proportional control and instrumentation electrically coupled to microcontroller of control system. Friction machine includes flow testing chamber coupled to circulation, filtration and thermal regulation system of tested lubricating medium which allows required pressure in testing chamber, thinness of clean-out of tested lubricating medium and its thermal regulation in time according to various laws to be carried out. Tested tribocoupling is loaded with the aid of loading system fitted with unit of stabilization of supply pressure and with program-controlled hydraulic equipment with proportional control which enable loading force of tested tribocoupling to be changed in time in agreement with necessary law. Key motion of countersample is realized with the use of program- controlled DC motor which makes it feasible to change sliding velocity in time in correspondence with necessary law and to record simultaneously moment of friction in tested tribocoupling. Double-action plunger pairs making it possible to amplify and transmit hydraulic signal of loading to tested tribocoupling as well as to minimize friction losses in plunger pairs proper are employed in the capacity of actuating mechanisms. EFFECT: full simulation of actual conditions of functioning of friction units in machines and mechanisms, maximum reduction of test time and minimized labor input. 1 cl, 5 dwg
