FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: cryogenic apparatus can be used for cryogenic destruction in surgery; for cryogenic destruction of surface and intracavitary pathological new growths and in therapy for cryogenic therapy of hearths of inflammation. Cryogenic apparatus has container for refrigerating medium. There is air-proof cap on the container. Hollow cap brings cannula, disposed on one side of cap; there are channels for supplying and removal of refrigerating medium cannula. There is also applicator at the end of cannula. Opposite side of cap is connected with pressure rise source through connection unit. Connection unit has cone-shaped plug. Elastic pipe is inserted in axial with plug. There is open for air-removing pipe disposed on top part of airtight cap. Apparatus additional has heat-exchanging unit disposed inside cavity of air-proof cap. Heat-exchanging unit is formed by cannula, elongated inside hollow cap of cannula, and heat-exchange chamber disposed in axial. Heat-exchange camera is made of heat-conducting material in form of thin-walled sleeve. Bottom of sleeve is tightly connected with channel for removal of refrigerating medium; bottom is disposed higher than open part of sleeve is. Open part of sleeve is widened and is made of heat-insulating material for air-proof connection with cone-shaped plug. Rod is tightly attached to one side of sleeve. The rod has saw cut in its lower part. Spiral is made by knurl method at distal end of channel for supplying refrigerating medium; pitch of spiral reduces in the direction of applicator. Spiral is made in form of internal ribs of channel. One more spiral is made at distal end of channel for removing refrigerating medium; pitch of spiral increases in the direction of proximal part of cannula. End of elastic pipe, withdrawn into pipe, is bent in form of spiral. Air-removing pipe is attached to sleeve closer to its bottom. There is sealing ring between air-proof cap and external wall of container for refrigerating medium. Cap is attached to container for refrigerating medium by means of catches-locks.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation; higher speed of circulation of refrigerating medium; improved heat transmission; higher comfort at use; safety at application.
