FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves doing two paracenteses, surgical incision and anterior continuous circular capsulorhexis. Device is introduced into the anterior chamber in pupil zone. External oval of the device is bent upward and fixed on iris edge and the external oval edge is brought under capsulorhexis edge to pupil edge of the iris above Zinn ligament zone. Capsule ring implantation is carried out, crystalline nucleus is removed, intraocular lens is implanted and the device is withdrawn from the eye. Device has external and internal oval manufactured from biocompatible elastic flexible threads. The ovals are placed one inside the other in the same plane and connected to each other in single point belonging to both greater axes of both shafts. The greater axes of both shafts are arranged along the same straight line. Ratio the external oval greater axis to the internal and internal oval greater axis is equal to 1.1-1.5.
EFFECT: retained eye lens capsule; prevented Zinn ligament rupture and complete eye lens dislocation into vitreous body; reduced risk of intraocular lens dislocation.
