FIELD: road building machines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed metering hopper is essentially hopper-car with ballast meter arranged under its frame. Double-arm lever is installed on ballast meter containing side and cross beams connected in form of frame 1 and overrail beams. One arm of said lever is made for engagement with stop 8 secured on hopper-car, and mounted equipment is attached to other arm 7. Scraper in form of profile knife, rolls providing movement of metering hopper lowered into working position along rails.
EFFECT: provision of holding of mounted equipment at preset height, enlarged operating capabilities.
