HOPPER-BATCHER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: construction and transport machinery. SUBSTANCE: proposed hopper-batcher has frame 1 resting on bogies. Frame 1 carries hopper 2 with inner and outer discharge hatches with covers, ballast batcher 5 provided with over-rail beams and installed in lower part of frame for re-placing in height by means of drive, and screen 14 to limit ballast charging. Screen is made double-pitch and includes clamps. It is installed in lower middle part of frame for lifting and lowering and fixing in upper position by means of locks. Each lock has rod for fixing corresponding clamp. Rod is connected with pneumatic cylinder. Ballast dividers are secured in upper part of over-rail beams. Stops with guide rollers are rigidly secured in lower part of frame at both sides of hopper. Guide rollers engage with guides secured from outer sides of ballast batcher for lifting and lowering the batcher. Clamps of screen are directed along longitudinal axis of hopper-batcher. Rods of locks with pneumatic cylinders are arranged across hopper-batcher. Ballast charging limit screen and each over-rail beam are essentially angles with webs tilter through 45 deg relative to vertical. EFFECT: facilitated mounting, reduced labor input. 5 cl, 8 dwg
