FIELD: chemical industry; medicine; other branches of industry; methods of production of the hypochlorites.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the technology of production of the hypochlorites, in particular, to production of the concentrated water solution of the potassium hypochlorite and may be used in production of the decontaminating means used for treatment of the drinking water, the purification of the swimming pools water, decontamination of the waste waters, in medicine and other branches of industry. The method of production of the potassium hypochlorite provides for: the chlorination of the potassium hydroxide solution by the gaseous chlorine at the temperature of not above 35°С at the constant stirring action by the mixture of chlorine with air till formations of the solution containing of no less than 190 g/dm3 of the potassium hypochlorite with the subsequent settling. The sediment formed after the settling and the decantation of the ready product is preliminary filtered off. The solid phase represents the crystalline potassium chloride, which is dissolved in the water up to the mass concentration of КС1 360-370 g/dm3 and decontaminated from the active chlorine using the reductant and then it is sent back into the production process for the electrolysis for production of potassium hydrate and chlorine. The suspension, which has remained after the filtration and containing the dissolved potassium hypochlorite, the potassium chlorate, the potassium hydroxide, the potassium chloride, is transferred into the tower of the lime milk chlorination, where conduct the process of the suspension chlorination in the mixture with the lime milk feeding the air for the stirring action. The produced chlorate-chloride alkali liquors are decontaminated and guided to the production process of the potassium chlorate and refer to engineering procedure of production of a potassium chlorate humidified - the to potassium chloride. The technical result of the invention is development of the non-waste technology of production of the potassium hypochlorite.
EFFECT: the invention ensures development of the non-waste technology of production of the potassium hypochlorite.
