FIELD: transport engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compression brakes of internal combustion engines of trucks. Proposed combination truck retarder brake has exhaust valve with drive to hold valve open or closed at compression stroke in top dead center. Said valve is installed in cylinder head. Retarder brake includes air distributor installed in cylinder block vee, additional valves installed in cylinder block heads, electromagnetic air supply valve and axial rotary-piston pump which are electrically connected with control panel. Electromagnetic valve is connected by pipeline with receiver and through air distributor, with additional air intake valves of cylinders, and axial rotor-piston pump is coupled through pipelines with oil intake and, through oil distributor, with hydraulic pushers of exhaust valves.
EFFECT: increased reliability of operation under different operating conditions, facilitated manufacture and operation.
