FIELD: fire protection.
SUBSTANCE: the simplest configuration of device has laser and controlling computer, which controls laser beam scanning system and automatically recognizes identification signs of smoke in lidar signal on base of algorithm of neuron network. Procedure of scanning is optimized for specific topography and for other characteristics of observation area. Neuron network is modeled or made in form of co-processor. For wider coverage, several lidar stations can be integrated into one circuit which allows simultaneous scanning of suspicious areas by means of several lidars disposed near, to provide maximal efficiency and to reduce number of false alarm signals. System allows detecting and finding location of fires at even longer distance than passive low-sensitive systems do.
EFFECT: improved efficiency; higher reliability.
