FIELD: engineering of radio measurements, possible use for determining levels of electromagnetic radiation, generated by radio-electronic devices of various purposes in band of frequencies, including industrial 50 Hz frequency.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, determining of levels of researched electromagnetic radiation, created by external source, and level of electromagnetic radiation of industrial frequency are performed in three stages: - at first stage by means of standard device for measuring levels of electromagnetic radiation their total level is measured; - at second stage on basis of spectrogram of levels of researched electromagnetic radiation and electromagnetic radiation of industrial frequency, their relatively energetic levels are determined from given mathematical formulae; - at third stage levels of researched electromagnetic radiation and industrial frequency electromagnetic radiation are determined. When determining level of electromagnetic radiation, created by computer, acting as external source, computer itself may function as frequency spectrum analyzer.

EFFECT: increased precision when determining levels of electromagnetic radiation in computer due to prevented influence of electromagnetic radiation of industrial frequency on result.
