FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: one measures the value of intensity of the electric field generated by electromagnetic radiation sources other than PCs at 0 Hz frequency and measures the value of intensity of the electrostatic field generated by the PCs at 0 Hz frequency and measures the value of intensity of the electric field generated by electromagnetic radiation sources other than PCs and household appliances at 50 Hz frequency and measures the value of intensity of the electric field generated by the PCs at 50 Hz frequency and measures the value of intensity of the electric field generated by the household appliances used within the residential buildings and premises at 50 Hz frequency and measures the value of intensity of the magnetic field generated by electromagnetic radiation sources other than PCs at 50 Hz frequency and measures the value of intensity of the magnetic field generated by the PCs at 50 Hz frequency and measures the value of intensity of the electromagnetic field from the radio frequency range 30 kHz - 300 MHz. One determines the allowable time of stay at the measurement spot for each outside surface. From the obtained time values one selects the least allowable value, the values of intensity of electric or magnetic fields corresponding to the least allowable value of the time of stay at the measurement spots, using to form the special pattern of electromagnetic fields depending on the intensity of electric and magnetic fields within the facility under survey. One concludes on the level of electromagnetic safety by the obtained special pattern of electromagnetic radiation hazards.

EFFECT: application area extension, enhanced reliability of electromagnetic safety control results and reduction of the method implementation labour intensity.
