FIELD: electronics.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, one-phased semi-bridge thyristor inverter is proposed for transformer type loads with power of 3 kWt and above. Force section of inverter contains two semi-bridges: first semi-bridge of two serially connected thyristors and serially connected transistors, connected in parallel to thyristors, and second semi-bridge of two serially connected capacitors. Control system provides automatic transfer of inverter operation from transistors to thyristors and back during increase, or, respectively, decrease of load current. Commutation of thyristors is natural.

EFFECT: increased serviceability in whole range of loads from standby mode to maximal loads.
