FIELD: medicine, pathological anatomy, pathophysiology.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with detecting the degree of intestinal failure syndrome (IFS) at acute spread peritonitis in an experiment. It is necessary to detect the values and shapes of mucosal villi of small intestine, characteristics of their epithelium and stroma. Additionally, one should estimate the gain of intraabdominal pressure, absolute and relative intestinal weight together with its content, the diameter of small intestine, the character of its content, spontaneous and induced peristaltics; the state of the vessels of small intestinal wall; the thickness of intestinal wall, the height of mucosal villi, the diameter of arterioles and venules of intestinal wall; specific activity of NAD-dehydrogenase, acidic and alkaline phosphotase in cytoplasm of enterocytes. According to the values obtained it is possible to detect 3 stages of IFS in case of experimental peritonitis to be further applied for evaluating the efficiency of curative tactics.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of detection.
