FIELD: processes and equipment for cooling after molding with use of cross motion and preferably with use of system and(or) stages for cooling set of polymeric products molded in row of molding rods.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for cooling after molding includes first row of cooling tubes arranged in such a way that to hold first set of molded polymeric products and second row of cooling tubes arranged in such a way that to hold second set of molded polymeric products. Cooling station is arranged near cooling apparatus; configuration of said station provides possibility for supplying cooling fluid inside both (first and second) sets of molded products arranged inside respective first and second rows of cooling tubes. Moving structure provides imparting of rotation for carrying first and second sets of molded products inside respective first and second rows of cooling tubes to cooling station. Said moving structure imparts cross axial motion for alternating feed of first row of cooling tubes and then of second row of cooling tubes to row of molding rods. Method for moving driving apparatus joined with cooling apparatus for receiving and arranging row of molded products in cooling apparatus of injection molding machine comprises steps of transferring row of molded products in first row of cooling tubes arranged in cooling apparatus. Driving apparatus imparts rotation to cooling apparatus for moving products between stations. Driving apparatus also imparts axial motion to cooling apparatus for placing cooling apparatus in position providing possibility for receiving other row of products.
EFFECT: rapid effective cooling process combined with shortened time period of molding cycle.
